Brisk Great Falls Morning
Brisk the wind
As the wind of God
Touchs my cheek
Touchs my trench coat
Made of Leather
That drapes me
I feel it is my armor
So that life does not
scuff me up to much
Brisk Morning
Tells me that God
Is around
Touching the Birds
That lay new baby birds
As you hear them In the nest
The little ones
Chirping Away
Chirping to know
Their Parents will be back
With the early worm
To be fed and care of...
Then one day they will leave
Leave the nest
To start their own nest
In another tree of life
As I walk on man made walk
I look at the little fox
That is no longer little.
How the air is cool
How to see the beauty
The Beauty of the light
Upon my brow
Brisk the air
Brisk life can be
As the seasons past
They have taught me so much
I miss my youth
The travel
The unity
Once upon a time
As I walk
Walk to the bus
To go to work at dawn
To ride To metro
To DC area
Traveling on the rail
To work near the Potomac
Potomac River
In Old town
Alexandria
As I step on to the bus
I will miss the quiet
Quiet community
Of Great Falls
But there is always
Always tomorrow Morning
Brisk
